Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a User Community Manager to lead user engagement and service integration activities within the DestinE Platform, with a strong emphasis on onboarding processes and Service Desk operations.

This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless coordination across the DestinE ecosystem, supporting a coherent and efficient value chain. The ideal candidate will foster interoperability, drive innovation, and champion the adoption of cutting-edge solutions across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Service Desk Supervision: Supervise the activities of the Service Desk Coordinator to ensure alignment with platform objectives.

Service Onboarding & Integration: Supervise the onboarding of new service providers  with a focus on ensuring services meet platform requirements for interoperability, maturity, and architectural alignment. Provide technical guidance, promote data integration, and encourage service chaining to enhance platform value.

User Engagement & Community Building: Actively engage with the user community, staying informed on emerging technologies and best practices.


Successful Candidate

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of the DestinE operational context, including platform governance, service integration, and platform components
  • 5+ years experience in Data Access and Management Services: Solid understanding of data services, particularly DestinE data offerings, to support consistent integration and value-added use by providers.
  • Proven experience in Coordinating Multi-Partner Technical Consortia, coordinating technical teams
  • Proven experience in Service Onboarding and Evaluation, with expertise in onboarding external service providers, including technical integration, compliance checks, and alignment with platform standards.
  • Experience in overseeing Service Desk operations, ensuring efficient workflows, and monitoring support quality using PIs/KPIs.
  • Strong technical understanding of the DestinE runtime platform, including the operational steps necessary for successful integration during Service Onboarding.
  • Candidates must have actively supported service operations, with a hands-on approach to maintaining live services and working closely with operations teams to ensure service stability, resilience, and performance.


Soft Skills

  • Proven experience in leadership and team management, with proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional technical teams with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and effective service delivery
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, showing excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from service providers to institutional partners. Strong negotiation ability is an asset.
  • Cross-functional Coordination mindset: showing strong coordination skills to ensure consistent service integration across internal units and external contracts, stimulating growth and promoting innovation
  • Analytical & Data-Driven Approach: Ability to interpret platform indicators, user feedback, and operational metrics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
  • Availability and flexibility to travel on short notice as needed to support project coordination, service integration activities, or urgent operational needs.


Certifications / Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • ITIL Certification (Foundation or higher) is an asset - desirable for managing support workflows and service lifecycle.
