On behalf of our client in Munich, Germany, we are looking for an experienced Product and Quality Assurance Engineer for a full-time position under a fixed-term contract of 12 months, with the possibility of an extension.

The successful candidate will provide PA/QA services with suitable personnel, having the necessary education, experience, and technical knowledge to execute various product and quality assurance tasks. These activities will focus on the planning, management, and implementation of a PA/QA program and the control of the correct implementation of a Safety Program in accordance with the requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establishment and implementation of a Product Assurance and Safety Plan for the Galileo FOC phases, including related Statements of Compliance.
  • Management of subcontractors with reference to PA aspects, through audits and inspections as needed.
  • Regular progress reporting of the product assurance and safety status, problems, and activities.
  • Implementation and control of quality assurance tasks according to the PA Plan.
  • Day-to-day surveillance of flight, mission, and ground operations preparation and execution activities.
  • Day-to-day support to the client's activities, including contractual support, document approval, and ensuring IT tools comply with process needs.
  • Monitoring and support of operations validation and other activities interfacing with other segments.
  • Monitoring of hosting services provided at GCC-D and GCC-I.
  • Participation in LEOP, IOT, IOV campaigns, and any other special operations requiring PA support to ensure robust process execution.
  • Management and coordination of WP6 non-conformance and anomaly control programs and dedicated processes for flight, mission, and ground ARBs.
  • Management and coordination of WP6 configuration control processes, including Flight CCBs and PCBs, as outlined in the PA Plan.
  • Support to project management in the overall risk management process.
  • Support in defining, monitoring, and controlling critical items.
  • Participation in, or coordination of, lesson-learned activities as needed.
  • Quality management tasks include ensuring that the QM tasks are performed under a certified Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001.
  • Coordination of internal and external client audits as needed.
  • SEC OPS support tasks include supporting SEC OPS activities and boards analogous to PA management tasks.

Successful Candidate

  • University Degree in Engineering or Technical Sciences.
  • Several years of experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain.
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management and Product Assurance implementation within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 is an asset.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.).
  • A hands-on mentality and a systematic, self-organized approach with the ability to prioritize.
  • EU citizenship is necessary.
  • Security clearance up to EU RESTRICTED level is required.
